Troy Alakannuaq

Troy Alakannuaq is a musician and songwriter from Naujaat, Nunavut. He began his career with Alpha5 in his hometown, and his music reflects the everyday life of the North. Troy’s approach is authentic and grounded in his own experiences. He’s currently working on his first album, capturing the unique sounds and stories of his community. He’s also preparing to launch the first Naujaat Music Festival—a platform to give local artists a chance to shine.
